Norfolk Explorers Summer Camp will be provided Norfolk youth 5-12. Norfolk Explorers program is from June 26th – August 18th (Closed July 4th in observance of Independence Day), Monday through Friday from 8am – 6pm. Campers will participate in age appropriate recreational activities such as themed based weeks, crafts, stem/science, field trips, guest presenters, active play/sports, swimming and outdoor nature discovery/play. Breakfast and lunch included in the total cost however, participants are welcomed to bring their own meals. Please contact your local community or recreation facility for more information regarding special accommodations, dietary restrictions or concerns. Must be a Norfolk resident to register.

Campers will participate in age appropriate recreational activities such as themed based weeks, crafts, stem/science, field trips, guest presenters, active play/sports, swimming and outdoor nature discovery/play. Breakfast and lunch included in the total cost however, participants are welcomed to bring their own meals. Norfolk Parks and Recreation will provide a full credit or refund for an activity if it is cancelled by the Department or if the requester has one of the following situations:

Medical necessity, military deployment or death; appropriate documentation is required.

The Department will not prorate fees under any circumstances for missed days or weeks due to vacation, illness or any other reason.

 The City of Norfolk reserves the right to assess any fee alterations due to internal closings.
