Pottery on the Wheel - Level I

Learn how to throw Pottery on the Wheel then move into weekly projects. Projects will include making cups, vases, pitchers, and bowls. Participants are required to have an apron, purchase a basic tool kit, and a 25lb bag of clay that fires to cone 6 which must be verified first class.

Make-up lessons will not be available if student misses lesson.

Clay can be purchased at any of the following: Jerrys Artarama, All Hands Pottery Studio, or Clayworks Richmond. Please send questions about supplies to deonte.brown@norfolk.gov.
